AI-based Data Processing, Intelligent Control and Their Applications

Call for Workshop Papers

Artificial intelligence (AI), an comprehensive and interdisciplinary field, is usually regarded as a branch of computer science, dealing with models and systems for the performance of functions. With the ever-growing popularization of the Internet, universal existence of sensors, emergence of big data, and interconnection and fusion of data and knowledge, physical space, and cyberspace, the information environment surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) development has changed profoundly, leading to a new evolutionary stage: AI 2.0. The emergence of new technologies also promotes AI to a new stage. It effectively integrates data-driven machine learning approaches (bottom-up) with knowledge-guided methods (top-down). In addition, it can employ data with different modalities (e.g., visual, auditory, and natural language processing) to perform cross-media learning and inference. Furthermore, there will be a step from the pursuit of an intelligent machine to the hybrid augmented intelligence (i.e., high-level man-machine collaboration and fusion).

In this context, you are cordially invited to submit research and methodological contributions on topics related to AI-based Data Processing, Intelligent Control and Their Applications.

All registered workshop papers will be submitted together with EAI ICMTEL 2021 proceedings for publishing by Springer to be made available through Springer Link Digital Library.

Papers are solicited on all aspects of research and application, including but not limited to:

  • AI-based Data Processing
  • AI-based Modeling and Simulation Techniques and Methodologies
  • Deep learning method
  • Industrial Artificial Intelligence
  • AI-based Control, Intelligent Control, Fuzzy Control And Their Applications
  • Network Intelligence and Network Control
  • Nonlinear Systems and Control
